Highline Public Schools is seeking Business Services Partners to join our team! Business Services Partners work in collaboration with assigned portfolio of programs as a part of the Business Services Department. This position researches, analyzes, and advises district leadership in making staffing and budget decisions to achieve the Highline Promise. This is a grant funded, two-year, non-continuing position.

Business Services Partner 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Two years of increasingly responsible experience working in a large or complex organization

Salary

$89,713 ~ $100,042 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assists in resolving financial/staffing/budget issues and develops scenarios in a manner that promotes flexibility in meeting student needs and maintains the district’s financial integrity.
  • Supports department administrators when making staffing and budget decisions by assuring available funding and allowable expenditures. Formats and presents complex information to easily communicate with decision makers.
  • Keeps current in terms of and serves as a resource person for: district policy and procedures; professional accounting and budgeting standards; and revenue, expenditure, and program requirements.
  • Maintains a wide variety of documents, files and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date information and historical reference in accordance with established administrative guidelines and legal requirements.
