Spring 2020

With equity at the center, we are continuing instruction during the pandemic. While we cannot replicate what happens in the classroom in a six-hour school day, teachers are guiding instructional activities and tasks that support daily learning. We know many adults are working from home and juggling other responsibilities, so lessons are designed for flexibility. Students can complete assignments at the best time for their family schedule.

What to Know About Distance Learning

How to Stay Connected

ParentVUE/StudentVUE

To access ParentVUE and StudentVUE, visit highlineschools.org/grades.

Use ParentVUE and StudentVUE to message teachers in multiple languages, check grades and review assignments.

When your child’s teacher sends a message through ParentVUE, you will receive an email. To respond, you must login to your ParentVUE account.

Phone Calls

Teachers will call using an app that may block Caller ID or use a number that does not appear as a school district number. If you don’t answer the call, you can respond by calling back, leaving a voicemail or sending a text.

Distance Learning

The core of who we are as the Highline Public Schools family remains unchanged. Our promise to know every student by name, strength and need has never been more important, though it requires more creativity and intention to stay connected.  Dr. Susan Enfield, Superintendent
